Crewkerne & District Youth Council
The objective of the Youth Council is to improve our area for young people and to give them a voice, so they may bring their own issues to the Town Council. Formed in Summer 06, we were originally 11 members between 15 and 17 years of age, now we have members from the two youth groups: West One & Club 66. As a Council we meet every other Wednesday of the month at West One Youth Centre & discuss a range of issues either brought to us by the Town Council or suggested by young people and members of the public.
If any young people are interested in learning more or have a point that they would like to raise, they can pop into West One on a Thursday evening and ask one of the Senior Members or Staff to pass it on to us or e-mail / 07745054369
For more info: www.somersetyouth.co.uk or check again here soon for more news.

Save a Life?
The Live Life Then Give Life Campaign raises awareness of organ donation and the chronic lack of organ donors in the UK. It encourages people to show their support for organ donation by wearing one of the T-shirts that have been produced especially. All proceeds go to TIME, a national charity to raise awareness of organ and tissue donation. Please visit Emily & Emma's site and tell others about it too. Great T-shirts; great campaign.
